Woman of Faith, Overcomer Award

Our hope is to be a beacon of light by sharing our story of faith and perseverance in churches and women’s organizations. Our aim is to recognize and celebrate with women who have persevered in faith through a difficult trial or hardship, and encourage those who are in are currently in a hardship with the Gospel Message of Christ, and reveal His unconditional love for them. We desire to hear redemptive stories of faith through challenging seasons. Upon hearing each story, we want to give women an opportunity to be nominated for our annual, You’re Beautiful . . .Woman of Faith, Overcomer Award.

You’re Beautiful

***Woman of Faith,* *Overcomer Award***

WHO: A woman of faith eighteen years or older may be nominated for the annual You’re Beautiful… Woman of Faith, Overcomer Award.

WHY: The purpose of this award is to recognize and honor women who have persevered, in faith, through extreme difficulty or hardship in their lives.

HOW: Email your story to christine@gracewomensoutreach.org with details of the challenge, how your faith helped you overcome a seemingly impossible trial or season in your life. Share the hardship you experienced, how you persevered, what you’ve learned from the trial, and how it changed your character or strengthened your resolve. We would also like to know where you are currently in your journey of faith with God. Please include your name, phone number, and an address to contact you. You may also nominate someone you know who has persevered in faith through hardship. Please note: A waiver must be signed at the end of the submission process. Overcomer Award Activity Waiver

WHERE: Each month a woman will be selected as the, Overcomer of the Month and receive a You’re Beautiful gift bag. These women will also be celebrated at our annual banquet on January 30, 2027 at 5:00 pm. Location of celebration to be announced.

WHEN: Each month a woman will be selected as a Woman of Faith, Overcomer, and receive a, You’re Beautiful gift bag. We are currently accepting stories.

A panel of judges from around the community and staff will read each letter for award consideration.
